Energy management apparatus and method of registering devices of same
The present invention relates to an energy management apparatus enabling efficient smart grid system construction by enabling interworking with a pre-constructed home automation system, and a method of registering devices of same. In the apparatus, an energy management device, collecting utilization information of energy consumed by a plurality of devices through a smart meter, and managing energy provision and energy consumption on the basis of the collected energy utilization information, is installed at a user side, reads the energy utilization information from the smart meter and transmits identification information on the smart meter. A home server obtains identification information on a user, registers the smart meter through an authentication for the user and controls operations of the plurality of devices included on the user side. The home server is registered on the basis of the authentication for the user, a list of the devices controlled by the home server, and each piece of information on the devices is obtained, and then the devices consuming energy at the user side are registered by being mapped to the smart meters and the home server on the basis of the obtained device information.

Device and method for supplying an electric device with electrical energy
The device (100) has an energy storage (101) i.e. lithium-ion accumulator, for supplying electrical energy. A controller (102) controls charging of the energy storage with electrical energy from a power grid (300) at low load condition of the power grid based on a control signal that is transmitted by the power grid. A connection device connects the device to the power grid, and is designed to receive the energy and control a signal from the power grid based on smart-grid-technology. A bypass device is coupled with the controller. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying an electrical device with electrical energy.
