Patent technical expert
Marc fell in love with octimine after a quarter century of professional patent search and examination:
finally a patent search approach that best matches his unconventional practice!
A multidisciplinary engineer from Ecole Centrale Paris, he coordinated European and US R&D activities of the RFS group of Alcatel Cable (now Nexans) in the 1980's. He designed robots, high energy physics detectors and taught analog electronics at Illinois Institute of Technology and the Fermi Institute, Chicago, while finishing his doctoral dissertation on ultrasonic diffraction tomography. Finally, he got all of his grey hair from writing his share of the Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC) and firmly believes octimine is the next killer app of patent search!
A proud empty-nester father of three highly successful young adults, Marc reinvented himself as digital nomad to quench his thirst for world travel. He drew on his accumulated patent and industry expertise to start a new life as independent patent technical expert and patent classification counselor.
